Eleanor Hamburger
(J.D. New York University) 

Ms. Hamburger emphasizes ERISA and state law health and disability insurance coverage, as well as general business and class action litigation. She received her law degree from New York University School of Law in 1993 where she was a Root-Tilden-Snow Scholar. She received her B.A. from St. Johns College in Annapolis, Maryland in 1988. Ms. Hamburger joined the firm in 2004. 

Ms. Hamburger has authored a number of articles and reports on health care conversion and consumer health care issues. She is former President and co-founder of the Northwest Health Law Advocates, a nonprofit consumer health advocacy organization. Ms. Hamburger was named a "Rising Star" by Washington Law and Politics in 2005-06, and has received recognition for her advocacy on behalf of insureds with disabilities from the Arc of Washington and Washington Autism Alliance and Advocacy.

Ms. Hamburger has a variety of administrative, trial and appellate experience including arguing before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, trial and motions practice in Washington State and federal district courts, and in various administrative proceedings.
